8. Cookies

This website uses "cookies" to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure.

A "cookie" is a small text file that we transfer via our web server to the browser's cookie file on your computer's hard drive. This enables our website to recognize you as a user when a connection is established between our web server and your browser. Cookies help us to determine the frequency of use and the number of users of our website. The content of the cookies we use is limited to an identification number, which no longer relates to the user. The main purpose of a cookie is to recognize visitors to the website.

Two types of cookies are used on this website:

Session cookies: These are temporary cookies that remain in the cookie file of your browser until you leave our website and are automatically deleted after your visit.

Permanent cookies: For better usability, cookies remain on your device and allow us to recognize your browser the next time you visit

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

10. Use of reCAPTCHA

In order to protect input forms on our site, we use the "reCAPTCHA" service from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter "Google". By using this service, a distinction can be made as to whether the corresponding input is of human origin or is misused by automated machine processing.

To our knowledge, the referrer URL, the IP address, the behavior of website visitors, information about the operating system, browser and length of stay, cookies, display instructions and scripts, user input behavior and mouse movements in the area of the "reCAPTCHA" checkbox are sent to "Google " transfer.

Google uses the information obtained in this way, among other things, to digitize books and other printed products and to optimize services such as Google Street View and Google Maps (e.g. house number and street name recognition).

The IP address transmitted as part of "reCAPTCHA" will not be merged with other Google data, unless you are logged into your Google account at the time you use the "reCAPTCHA" plug-in. If you want to prevent "Google" from transmitting and storing data about you and your behavior on our website, you must log out of "Google" before you visit our website or use the reCAPTCHA plug-in.

The information obtained from the "reCAPTCHA" service is used in accordance with the Google terms of use: https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

11. Use of YouTube components with extended data protection mode

On our website we use components (videos) from YouTube, LLC 901 Cherry Ave., 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA, a company of Google Inc., Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

We use the option "- extended data protection mode -" provided by YouTube.

When you call up a page that has an embedded video, a connection to the YouTube servers is established and the content is displayed on the website by notifying your browser.

According to YouTube, only data is transmitted to the YouTube server in "- extended data protection mode -", in particular which of our Internet pages you have visited when you watch the video. If you are logged into YouTube at the same time, this information will be assigned to your YouTube member account. You can prevent this by logging out of your member account before visiting our website.

Further information on data protection by YouTube is provided by Google under the following link: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

12. Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps to display map information. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data about the use of the map functions by visitors to the website. There you can also change your settings in the data protection center so that you can manage and protect your data.

13. Social networks and automatic downloading of images

We work with different social networks. When using this service, your browser is automatically connected to the relevant network and transmits your IP address and other information, such as cookies, if you have already visited the relevant platform. As far as possible, we avoid this type of data transmission until you actually interact with one of the platforms. By clicking on the relevant symbol (e.g. Facebook logo), you indicate that you are ready to communicate with the selected platform (in this case Facebook) and that information about you, such as your IP address, is transmitted to this social network ,

We sometimes use so-called "embedded" social media plug-ins on our website (interfaces to social networks). When visiting the website, the system automatically establishes a connection to the respective social network due to the integration of the plug-ins and transfers data (IP address, visit to the website etc.). The data transmission takes place without intervention and outside the responsibility of the operator. The user can prevent this data transmission by logging out of the respective social networks before visiting the website. Only when "logged in" can the social network assign specific data to the user's activity profile through automatic data transmission. The automatically transmitted data is used exclusively by the operators of the social networks and not by us from KBSG Tech GmbH. Further information on this, including the content of data collection by the social networks, can be found directly on the website of the corresponding social network. The privacy settings can also be adjusted there. The social networks integrated on the website are:

Facebook ("I like") Facebook Inc., 1601 S California Ave, Palo Alto, CA, 94304, USA Further information at https://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php.

Google ("+1") Google Inc., Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA page 5 Further information at http://www.google.com/intl/de_ALL/policies/terms/.

14. Server log files

To optimize this website in terms of system performance, user-friendliness and the provision of useful information about our services, the provider of the website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. This includes your Internet protocol address (IP address), browser and language setting, operating system, referrer URL, your Internet service provider and date / time.

This data is not merged with personal data sources. We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of specific indications of illegal use.
